Statue

I love this statue. Matthew Bierl sculpted this statue entitled, "Crouching Figure," in 1999. The photos do not fully capture it. This man has a presense. I don't feel right touching him. It is like touching a live stranger. Incredible. I don't understand why Bierl's sculptures are not everywhere. He is brillant.
New Roommate

I created this LJ, in order to better keep up with the influx of LJ users among my friends. Practically everyone I know has an LJ account, and I was sick of being anonymous in my "comments."

I stand by my opinion and don't you forget it.

I was hesitant to open an LJ account, for I find my life is not sufficiently exciting to other people to warrant constant survillence. It is thrilling to me, of course. But am thrilled by the discovery that I enjoy Rose Tea more than any other tea. It is delicious and decaffinated! I called my mom and opened with, "I found my soulmate in Tea!" My "Tea soulmate" if you will.

Maybe some current LJ users will put this on their friends list, and if I feel like sharing about my life occasionally, I will pop up on your friends page like a unfortunate mammal on Groundhog's Day.
